The final weight of one bag will be a maximum of 200–350g, depending on the shape.
The materials list includes double the quantity of the merino top, to allow you to play with the colours.

Materials List
What you will need:
- 600 grams of Australian Merino Wool in roving (wool top) 18–19 mic., in different colour shades of your choice
- Pre-felt 150 × 5 cm, the colour matching of the bag’s strap
- Small amount (5 grams) fibers chosen by you e.g.: lyocell, viscose top, nylon or silk fiber for shine decoration, synthetic or wool yarn also good, if it has loose structure and can be felted. Sequin yarn… and other treasures.
- Silk habotai/pongee 5 momme fabric, or gauze, chiffon material, min. 40 × 80 cm (optional)
Tools and Equipment:
- Notebook (optional)
- Pencil, eraser and paper for planning
- Pen or permanent marker
- Long and right-angle ruler
- Measuring tape
- Pins
- Needles, white sewing threads
- POINTED and SHARP scissors
- Medium-sized or fine felting needle, and foam mat
- Wooden tools for shaping, if you have (optional)
- Tweezer for shaping
- Inspiration, good mood, patience
Workshop materials fee $25.00:
Some materials will be provided for your use during the workshop including:
- 2-3 sheets of white grease proof paper for designing, size: 70 × 70 cm
- Razor for removing lint
- Small wire brush for correcting any errors (optional)
- Bubble wrap, about 1 meter for making prefelt
- 50 cm pipe insulation for rolling, approx. 4 cm diameter
- Cotton sheet for rolling, about 1 × 1 m
- 4 pieces of 50 cm long strings or at least 4 wide rubber bands for securing the roll
- Curtain net/smooth net, a piece old curtain, size: 50 × 50 cm
- Underfloor insulation for resist (1 mm thin!), 1 × 1 m per person
- IKEA non-slip mat
- 4 pcs. thin plastic sheeting 50 × 50 cm
- Felting Supplies: bubble wrap, netting, water bucket, towels, netting, soap.
