The British Columbia retreat will be hosted at the very beautiful and charming Foxglove Farm.
The farm is located on one of the original homesteads on the island,
surrounded by hundreds of acres of protected forest and agricultural
fields, bordering Maxwell Lake. An idyllic, inspiring and very relaxing
natural setting. There is accomodation available for up to eight people in
the three cottages.

Thanks, Mia! As I'm sure happens to you also, so much gets made that never gets photographed or written about! I've puzzled out a perfect Autumn balance for me…with some time off to read books and sketch…and look after myself…for the first time in a long, long time…..still busy….but nicely so, and not distractedly! Would still love to trade for some of your "little people"- they are so charming! xo, Fiona

The red long thin flowers are some species of Polygonum, I have other colours and species too (they are kind of jungle-like in the back near the water)
The blue ones are Lobelia syphilitica, tiny flowers like the "normal" Lobelia you put in hanging baskets, but very different in inflorescence ….

There are some beautiful polygonums…I'll keep my eyes out for these….Once, when visiting Irelnad, the cottage we stayed in had the most beautiful beds of a fluffy pink polygonum….lovely! Felting?
